Saturday Fly in at Pelican Park Clontarf

Come and join us at Pelican Park this Sat 26 July. Bring your sport kites
and power kites and join in the fun of flying with others. If you don't have
a kite just ask one of the Briskites members as we usualy have some trainer
kites on hand.
We usually fly from 11am until around 3pm.

 Caution Kites Australia have signed on Darren Brinkley(AKA- Sideshow Bob) as their team rider for 08-09.
Many kiters will remember Bob as the energetic and easygoing rider seen at many QLD events with his long dreadlocks flailing about.
A couple of weeks before Christmas 07 Bob broke his C2 Vertebrae in a failed attempt at a back mobe in shallow water. He was confined to a HALO for a couple of months with 4 Bolts screwed to his skull.
Well Bobs back and ready to push his limits again. He may be a little harder to spot in the water now though as the nurses cut his dreadys off in the hospital! Bob is always a joy to have at the beach and will be a great team member for Caution Kites.

We are quite excited to announce the location of the new Briskites store.
We will be opening on the first of September 08 at the following location-

To coincide with the new shop opening our brand new and improved website will be up and running in about 3 weeks.

Also this summer we will be growing our kite school to about 4 instructors and will be including clinics and trips.

All in all we are gearing up for a big summer this year and look forward to catching up either in the new store or at the beach.

Bribie Island Powerkite day II. 16 March 08

Here it comes again. Sunday the 16th of March. Bribie Island meet. Bring your buggies, mountainboards, kitesurf gear and whatever else.

What is it? Well it's a demo day, intro day and social day all rolled into one.

Tide is low at around 1200h.If the wind is NE we will be near the bunker (take the last beach carpark at the end of North st).

If it's SE we will be at Skirmish Point (Park at the end of Lowry St).

Any new kiters welcome (even if you don't own any gear).
We will have some demo gear available too.

Start time will be around 12pm and the day is weather dependant so be sure to check back here often.

There is of course no cost and participation is entirely at your own risk.
